Get on down to the Toff tomorrow night for the triumphant return of CYM, with a lineup that promises to impress and at a venue which blew my socks off last time.

Clean Young Mess is changing venue and tact for one night only, bringing you The Basics (myspace), Major Major (myspace), Super Fun Happy Band (myspace) and Junior Anti Sex League (myspace) at the Toff in Town, all for only $12! I’m pumped to see what the move to Curtin House will mean — every time I’ve been there it’s been an absolute party. Of course usual DJs will be playing til late and drinks specials will rival Pogo.

Clean Young Mess returns with another huge party — should be a blast. The Yagerbombs will not be prepoured, the BBQ will be sizzling and Corey from Narre Warren has given it his seal of approval.

After the success of the last CYM Friday (myspace), which was going to only be a monthly affair, Zac has decided to throw another huge night — featuring a whole bunch of coolness. Last time was awesome, Young Lovers blew my mind with their pacy indie-rock madness and very sweet harmonies, and Skirtchaser was playing the tunes you know and love all night long. With an all-electro lineup, it should be a good one.

Melbourne’s newest indie-scene-kid-night-hippster-haircut night will be debuting on Friday, 7 December @ Miss Libertines. Under the moniker of Clean Young Mess (myspace) the crew responsible hope to start a semi-regular night for up-and-coming indie-scenesters to showcase their talents. Come along and check it out, it’s only going to get bigger and you know Friday night is where it’s at.
